It's a beautiful fall morning out here in the country but one very important thing is missing...our precious chocolate lab, Lucy. She won't be running across the field or whacking guests with her excitable lab tail anymore. Lucy passed away yesterday from some type of kidney failure, and Jon & I are suffering. She was our first baby and our first responsibility together.
She was the best little puppy. She was the most gentle dog for our babies. She loved the country. We love you, Lucy; R.I.P. We'll see you again someday.

Oh Jess that is so SAD! I am sorry for your families loss.
Sorry to hear that. Hope Carter is handling it ok. Pets are family and it is always hard to loose one.
